Deacons Ministry - Shared Governance - President - Deacon George Casey

Scripture: Acts 6: 2-4
Mission Statement: To serve as the Pastor's Amour Bearers, thereby assuring that by being diligent in seeking to meet the needs of the members of the church family with compassionate care and spiritual guidance in coping with sickness, bereavement, as well as an attentiveness to the spiritual needs and to maintain the integrity of the church by promoting unity within the congregation wherein allowing the Pastor to focus on the ministry of the Word of God to his flock.

Fundraising Ministry - Sarah Barksdale

Scripture: Exodus 25: 1-9
Mission Statement: To approve and coordinate all of the fund raising activities of the church body to assure appropriateness and to prevent schedule conflicts.

Evangelism Ministry - Church Leaders

Scripture: Acts 13: 1-3
Mission Statement: To win souls to Christ on the highways and the by-ways exhibiting a passion for the commitment to go wherever we are called to tell the story of our Savior and to remind everyone we meet that "Jesus Love You!"

Beautification Ministry - Church Leaders and Members

Mission Statement: To eify the sanctuary and church grounds in beauty by maintaining them in optimal condition and making special preparations for holidays or special events as we give glory to God for all that he has blessed us with when we come to his place of worship thereby honoring him with good stewardship and respect through esthetic efforts to the best of our abilities.

Foreign Mission Ministry - Deacon James Mason

Scripture: Acts 15: 7-12
Mission Statement: To promote the Word of God and the plan of salvation abroad through missions and partnerships with foreign countries as we attempt to meet their social and poverty stricken needs as God has commanded of us.

Political Action Ministry - Deacon Adolphus Brewster

Scripture: 1 Timothy 2: 1-3 
Mission Statement: To mobilize and create a presence of the body of Christ through attendance, advocacy, and ongoing education regarding the political forum and social issues the currently exist in our community. 

Outreach Ministry - Mr. Ernest Byrd

Mission Statement: To maintain a visibility of the church, its activities, and focus on recruitment efforts through newspaper, radio, transportation, marketing strategies, and special events that will both maintain and promote "engagement with and experience in" our congregation family.

Support Ministry - Trustee Michael Rice

Mission Statement: To provide support services and staff in hospitality, health, and transportation to all ministries of the church.

Senior Ministry - Mrs. Brianna Robinson

Mission Statement: To expose our senior members to recreational activities outside our community, such as dining, theater, and shopping excursions. We know we enjoy these pleasures because we walk in the forgiveness that was purchased for us by Jesus.

Praise Ministry - Ms. Kasey Rice

Mission Statement: To celebrate and record God's movement in all aspects of our church life and maintain a visual and written record of all of God's goodness constantly bestowed upon our congregation both internally and externally.

Sound Ministry - Mr. Seth Caldwell

Scripture: 1 Chronicle 9: 28 - 29
Mission Statement: To assure the maintenance of all sound equipment and proper levels of acoustic elements of the sanctuary that the spiritual elevation of the Holy Spirit may not be hindered in its presence during worship service by barriers of inappropriate or distracting or disturbing sound issues.

Emergency Preparedness Ministry - Deacon Charles Stroud

Scripture: Nehemiah 2: 11 - 15
Mission Statement
: To develop, maintain, and activate, situation specific emergency plans, to promote the safety and well-being of the members of the congregation and/or community during natural or personal disasters when a crisis arises.

Business Ministry - Trustee David Mason

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12: 4 - 5
Mission Statement: To provide efficient and competent fiscal oversight for all the business affairs of the Church in order to assure good stewardship over the monetary blessings God grants this congregation that we may be able to glorify his great works in all the endeavors of the ministries therein with expeditious resolution of any outstanding debts in line with the financial guidance of the word of God.

Education Ministry - Minister Aiken 

Scripture: Matthew 28: 19 - 20
Mission Statement: To foster dynamic Christian development in all ages of the church by providing consistent, biblically sound, God-directed, Jesus filled teaching in all ministries of the church regarding both spiritual and social issues of the life with age appropriate curriculums and programs that address the diverse needs and learning levels of the congregation in order to present them aptly prepared with the armor of God's word to lead a productive and confident spiritual life in all aspects of society.

Prayer Ministry - Ms. Linda Rice

Scripture: Matthew 6: 5 - 15
Mission Statement: To constantly and fervently utilize the anointed gift of prayer to uplift the Pastor, Leadership, Congregation, and Community, and all aspects and issues of the church in prayer regarding all of its spiritual, physical, emotional and fiscal needs with sincere supplication before our God with a faithful expectancy of the blessings of his answers to all of our requests believing that all things work to good according to his purpose.

Music Ministry -

Mission Statement: To minister and impart vocally with Spirit and Truth God's ordained music at Duncan Creek Baptist Church and abroad while honoring Psalms 100:1-4 with distinct focus on singing and worshipping the audience of 1 - God

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth; my soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.  Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalms 34: 1-3

Scripture: Titus 2: 3-5

To Connect Women with Gifts to Women with Needs

Also, teach the older women to live the way those who serve the Lord should live. They should not go around saying bad things about others or be in the habit of drinking too much. They should teach what is good.  By doing this they will teach the younger women to love their husbands and children.  They will teach them to be wise and pure, to take care of their homes, to be kind, and to be willing to serve their husbands. Then no one will be able to criticize the teaching God gave us. (Titus 2: 3 – 5)
